Mural

There are some people who do not get the difference between graffiti and mural. Well there are actually a lot of similarities, first, both are done on walls, both are works of art, both use different styles of painting and making use of different colors and the like. The big difference though is that a mural is something more organized and specific.  Graffiti is more of free styling and usually done by people who want to express themselves, it could basically be anybody, even those who do not have a background in painting.

But rest assured both are works of art, therefore both are very subjective and beautiful whatsoever.

Mosaic

With all the trinkets and other bits and pieces around our house, we do not know what to do with them sometimes, most of these things just end up in the trash bin. But if you just stop and think of things that you can do instead of always throwing away things, you will be able to think of something you can make out of them. If you are creative or imaginative enough, a mosaic is a perfect work of art that you can make as a result of putting all these materials together to create an image.

Making mosaic is fun, you just need all unused trinkets, stones, pieces of colored glass, and tons of other similar things and you are off to a good start.

Picture Perfect!

We love reminiscing unforgettable events in our lives, special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas parties and the like. Capturing these remarkable moments in pictures can be extra meaningful if we can compile all the photographs in an album or a scrapbook. Scrapbooking is more personal and special than just placing all the pictures in an album. You only need some patience and time to come up with some creative ideas and a theme. We have a lot of stores nowadays that can provide us with all the necessary tools and other materials that we need.

Making a scrapbook doesn’t need expertise, what matters most is that it is done wholeheartedly.

ORIGAMI

If you are looking for something to do during your spare time and you are keen on doing arts and crafts, then you have to try ORIGAMI. This is the traditional Japanese folk art of folding paper into different shapes and forms. “Ori” in Japanese means folding, “gami” or “kami” on the other hand means paper. Origami is very interesting since you only need a paper and nothing else, no tapes, glue, scissors and other materials. You start with basic shapes, like heart, a flower, and of course the very common and popular crane origami.

Nowadays, origami has evolved into not just paper folding, it became more interactive since we now have more complicated and intricate designs. There are already a variety of origami styles, like inflatable origami and origami animation.
